Reporting and Commercial Finance Analyst - FTC

This role will a 12 month fixed term contract role, reporting to Retail Finance Business Partner. You will sit as analytical and data support for the wider commercial finance team, with focus in particular to the retail channel. You will be in charge of tracking performance metrics and routine reporting used by leaders in Pandora to make strategic business decisions. This role will work closely with retail stakeholders including our Retail Director and wider sales team, supporting the Retail Finance Business Partner in commercial decision making.


Key Role Responsibilities include:


  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly reporting to the business for all revenue channels
  • Ownership of the sales reporting data to ensure data accuracy & integrity, across both local & global data sets
  • Drive improvements in routine and ad hoc performance reporting across all revenue channels
  • Focus on extracting accurate data to deliver insightful analysis to support the sales team with better decision making
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Support the integration of BI tools, representing team as superuser and training stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc analysis as required


  • Business partner both internal finance and wider Retail commercial teams
  • Own store target setting process by working closely with Sales director to set meaningful targets as well as tracking forecasting accuracy
  • Support retail business partner in planning cycles including setting and tracking budgets/ forecasts from both a Revenue and Opex perspective
  • Support in month-end routines including variance analysis & commercial month end reporting
  • Explore and support on driving OPEX efficiencies across both Retail & Property store costs


  • Part or newly qualified ACA/ACCA 
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel is mandatory (with knowledge on VBA advantageous)
  • Comfortable and confident working with large data sets, SQL and creating effective reporting
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to challenge when required.
  • Must have the ability to partner with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within strict deadlines and tight timelines
  • Excellent at multiple stakeholder management
  • Must be solution-focused
  • The candidate must thrive in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a commercial environment, preferably within Retail (however not compulsory)
