PANDORA Americas is heavily dependent upon its many suppliers to ensure efficient daily operations. With an annual external spend of approximately USD 150 million, there is a strong opportunity to drive value improvements and cost savings from the supplier base. The main spend areas include media, printed marketing materials, transportation, Point of Sales materials, Store Fixtures, IT, Travel and other so-called indirect supplies.

PANDORA IS LOOKING TO ESTABLISH A REGIONAL PROCUREMENT FUNCTION COVERING THEIR OPERATIONS IN THE AMERICAS (INCLUDES USA, CANADA, BRAZIL AND EMERGING MARKETS). THE REGIONAL PROCUREMENT FUNCTION HAS OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANCHORING A PROCUREMENT MIND-SET IN THE PANDORA AMERICAS ORGANIZATION, AND LEADING PROCUREMENT EFFORTS IN A WAY THAT SUPPORTS THE OVERALL STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF PANDORA, UNDER THE VISION “BEST-PERFORMING SUPPLIERS IN THE INDUSTRY”:

Essential Functions: 

Identify value improvement & savings potentials within Americas

1.Ensure spend & forecast transparency: Map & forecast Americas procurement demands, both ongoing requirements and ad-hoc/one-off projects.

2.Conduct ongoing spend analysis, spend validation and opportunity assessment.

3.Lead and/or support sourcing initiatives, including creating and issuing RFP’s, building and executing vendor selection scorecards, creating and reviewing contract documents, and vendor implementation

4.Identify and execute procurement projects including documenting realized benefits & cost improvements. For regionally-scoped sourcing projects, act as project lead; for globally-scoped sourcing projects, act either as project lead or project local sponsor and support.

5.Drive value engineering and scenario planning

6.Structure and conduct high level analyses, such as cost and TCO modeling, risk analysis, market analysis, and benchmarking

7.Ensure security of supply for critical projects, products and services; eliminate unacceptable single supply risks & implement necessary contingency plans.

8.Manage new supplier implementations, and manage key supplier performance via ongoing contract management & regular business reviews

9.Conduct periodic supplier audits to ensure compliance

10.Participate in Pandora’s Global Procurement Council meetings, relevant global category councils and reference groups; support global procurement initiatives in The Americas within key categories

11.Maintain supply market overview & drive specific vendor discovery tasks

12.Support CSR improvement initiatives related to external suppliers.

13.Develop communication material towards management and the organization overall

Sourcing according to 6 step model and run negotiations and re-negotiations

1.Set team, scope and goals

6.Contract implementation and handover to daily operations/category managers

Cross-functional relationship management

1.Establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, both within the Americas region and globally

2.Understand market needs & manage supplier-related market input

3.Identify and capture new projects for sourcing pipeline

4.Engage necessary colleagues (subject matter experts), CSR, finance, etc


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
       

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role       

Strong analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Strong negotiation skills

High attention to detail

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Spanish language a plus 


Up to 15% international travel required
