We are seeking a new HR Assistant to join our growing HR team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an HR Assistant to join our growing HR team. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing HR administration support to 4 Business Partners focusing on generalist HR duties and the Learning & Development function. 

 

Responsibilities

The HR Assistant will:

  • Manage the HR inbox and distribute emails to relevant HR Business Partner
  • Prepare all documentation for casual retail positions including contracts and onboarding documents
  • Coordinate reference and background checks when required
  • Update the Organisation Chart and manage uploads onto the intranet for the HR site
  • Coordinate and book external training facilitators and venue for the L&D programs 
  • Organise flights and accommodation for company staff and team 
  • Manage training registrations
  • Assist with preparing training rooms
  • Collate relevant training materials and resources 
  • Assist with administration for the PANDORA eLearning platform

 

ABOUT YOU

You are someone that possesses a 'can do' attitude and is eager to learn within the HR field. This role will exposure you to all areas of HR and give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience within your HR career.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Desirable to have tertiary qualifications in HR 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a flexible manner, to meet deadlines
  • The ability to follow instructions, procedures and policies
  • Diplomatic and discrete behaviour with the ability to retain strict confidentiality
