Application Owner – Distributed Order Management

At Pandora Global IT we are looking for a dedicated Application Owner for our Distrubuted Order Management System.  We are in need of you who can bridge between our business needs and our technical offerings. You are the natural analyst combined with the can-do attitude when it comes to ensuring the final delivery.

Job Description:
We are looking for an application owner with a holistic approach, to take the lead on the Distributed Order Mgmt. application. The DOM Application owner will play a key role in creating the best possible Omni Channel Order Fulfillment journey for the involved stakeholders.
This means supporting the business with various back-end solutions, to enable them to offer e.g. Click-n-collect functionality. You will be the center point for driving the analysis, design and implementation of enhancements to the Distributed Order Management solution within PANDORA, in cooperation with internal and external partners. And further be responsible for the future IT Roadmap for Distributed Order Management solutions in general.

Main responsibilities:

  • Interpret business requirements and transform to technical requirements.
  • Define, analyze, and evaluate existing order management, call center and Omni channel (Buy online pick up in store, Ship from Store, Ship to store etc.) business functions and processes leveraging Enterprise Order Management system.
  • Take responsibility for Design and implement the technical foundation for the product offering, from scratch and build enhancements, bug fixes and features requests.
  • Manage all aspects of the application and application lifecycle and keep various stakeholders updated.
  • Responsible for the vendor/service selection within your area of responsibility.
  • Manage the rollout, maintenance, and ongoing administration/development of the order management applications and support.
  • Provide oversight, guidance and mentoring to engineering, web development, quality engineering, and release management teams.
  • Engagement towards the business as well as top management (CFO, SVP).

Professional qualifications:
The ideal candidate has experience with a distributed order management solution or worked with major ecommerce setups where retail and supply chain merge together. Further, the ideal candidate holds a strong technical background combined with solid solution architectural skills and the ability to liaise with the business. In addition, know how to translate business requirements into technical aspects and requirements and to ensure the development and roll out. 
The ideal candidate has experience with engagement towards the business and top-level stakeholders, combined with strong presentation and communication skills.
Furthermore, you have corresponding experience from large-scale international organizations, where you have gained some of following skills: 
  • Strong methodologic understanding.
  • Solid technical background e.g. as Solution Architect or similar.
  • Strong IT process knowledge e.g. Application lifecycle.
  • Experience with e-commerce / cross-channel solutions and ability to provide DOM/EOM expertise to the project teams.
  • Experience as a manager or project management as a minimum.
  • We expect that you hold a relevant degree, minimum at bachelor level.
