Master Data Governance Specialists

PANDORA’s Master Data Management (MDM) & Governance Team have, with great success, focused on product data and PANDORA is now ready to expand into other Master Data entities. Therefore we are searching for two Data Governance Specialists to support our business in the journey of master data management.

Job Description:
As a Master Data Governance Specialist, you will, together with the MDM & Governance Team, play a key role in assisting PANDORA on this important journey. The objective for you and the Team will be to facilitate and support PANDORA´s Data Owner and Data Steward to mature ways of working with MDM. You will be involved in all aspects of data governance from onboarding Data Owner/Data Stewards, assist in data definition and data procedure work, facilitate changes to Master Data using our Master Data Governance model and much more.

Main responsibilities:
  • Advise and educate Data Owners and Data Stewards on governance issues and methods.
  • Mediate data governance issues i.e. principles alignment, implementations and common definition maintenance.
  • Facilitate data governance across business areas.
  • Ensure that agreed data governance policies are followed.
  • Support and facilitate local data governance responsible.
  • Mapping data to business processes.
  • Continuous monitoring, maintenance and improvement of Master Data quality.
  • Coordinate knowledge sharing on Master Data and data governance in the organization.
  • Ensure Master Data requirements are documented, analysed, designed and implemented according to PANDORA´s Data Governance Model.
  • Together with the Team, ensure that the Master Data portal is up to date with newest, relevant information including Master Data glossary.

Additional information:
Expected travel: 15-20 days per year.

Professional qualifications:
  • 1-3 years working experience within Data Governance, MDM or process governance.
  • Interest in developing within data governance and MDM.
  • Knowledge of process mapping.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level of spoken and written English.
  • Relevant education at bachelor’s or master´s level, eg in IT or economics.
