As the BI Manager in NAM and LatAM, you will be responsible for developing roadmap and project initiatives to drive the business forward, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the team. You will set the vision of analytics solutions by understanding needs of key stakeholders, including senior management, internal counterparts, and business partners. This position will ultimately move the business towards a data first approach and assure that Business Intelligence and Insights are driven on a Cluster and Market level. You will be based in Baltimore, MD. You will also be in close contact with key stakeholders in Latin America (where one headcount is also located), and Denmark (Global office).

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with function area users across the organization to understand requirements and to ensure the Business Intelligence strategy and solutions are aligned with business needs.
  • Communicate bi-laterally to ensure stakeholders, team members and the Global office are aware, always of issues, resolutions and the status of projects
  • Serve as a key player and support analytical projects to identify business opportunities and areas of improvement for the organization and translate business challenges and opportunities into proposition for data analysis
  • Ensure credibility by providing timely and accurate analyses of business performance
  • Follow Global BI’s established policies and procedures for solution development
  • Ensure quality of data extracted from various sources for business usage, maintain a smooth operation of the data integration systems and that all reporting tools, platforms and KPI definitions are aligned with Global standards
  • Set up and manage the visualization of report on Pandora One Stop Shop (OSS) to evaluate business performance
  • Conduct training and provide support to business users

Key Performance Indicators:

  • The overall objective is to establish and drive the BI Consulting arm in the clusters – people, culture, processes, systems, and governance – into a well-functioning state
  • Form and integrate the members into the cluster BI team and ensure that roles and responsibilities are clear within BI and the wider organization
  • Formalize workstreams, key projects and initiatives to ensure alignment to business roadmaps, keep these business roadmap workstreams on track and that stakeholders are taken on the journey to delivery
  • Timely, accurate reporting delivered to business units and consistently monitor data quality, while playing a vital role in evaluating how the current reporting requirements can be transitioned into the new OSS platform
  • Plan according to Pandora’s yearly critical events and clusters specific calendars to ensure appropriate insights are in place to service management requirements e.g. Product Launch Effectiveness, Black Friday, Valentine’s Day, etc
  • Build ongoing engagement and facilitate regular sharing meetings and transparency among the BI Managers of other regions to drive a consistent global view
  • Instill a collaborative, sharing and agile approach to enable the team to quickly adapt to business units’ versatile requirements

Something About You:

  • 5+ years working in a BI Analytics area with minimum of 3 years leadership/people management role for a digital team
  • Experience in retail, wholesale or CPG organization and a global organization is highly preferred
  • Spanish and Portuguese a major plus
  • Experience in managing complex enterprise scale BI projects
  • Seasoned in analytics and reporting with a solid understanding of key BI trends, including Operations, Product & Merchandising, Marketing & Digital, Retail, Financial, IT, HR, Clusters and Markets analytics

  • Energetic with good written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as confidence to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to translate technical jargon and conversation multiple ways so multiple users can understand
  • Strong analytical skill set with a clear business impact focus

  • Background in delivering commercial benefits through embracing data
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence and implement change in a Global and Cluster setting
