The IT Business Partner is the strategic interface between Pandora IT and an assigned business unit(cluster) in North America. The IT BP will collaborate closely with the Cluster leadership and rest of Pandora IT with the purpose of: Business IT strategy development, solution discovery, service engagement, relationship management and change management. 

Essential Functions:

Business IT strategy development:

  • Serve as the business relationship link between clusters and Pandora IT at the executive level
  • Provide highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives
  • Understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues

Solution discovery:

  • Identify and define opportunities, prioritize projects and prepare material needed for the Project Portfolio Board(PPB) together with business leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Provide support in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business

Service engagement:

  • Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information regarding cluster requests, projects and initiatives
  • Operate as the key cluster contact representing Pandora IT in promoting IT services and capabilities
  • Take a lead role in enabling the cluster to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology
  • Enable the cluster in performing continuous improvement on IT solutions

Relationship management:

  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness in the clusters
  • Proactively serve as a “trusted advisor”, and primary IT point of contact, to cluster executives and managers

Change management:

  • Ensure top management focus and engagement
  • Ensure involvement on all relevant organizational levels

Additional Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the development and management of cluster/IT roadmaps
  • Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business/IT plans for the cluster
  • Support in developing solution concepts, business cases and one pagers for new investments
  • Create shared vision of the cluster’s respective solutions and facilitate decision making
  • Enforce Pandora IT’s operating model
  • Oversee the launch of IT projects and help to maximize the positive impact on the cluster
  • Identify, screen and evaluate new opportunities through engagement with competitors, customers and vendors
  • Promote the appropriate technologies and ensure that clusters have the solutions needed, when they need them, and best suited to their requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams across Pandora IT to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
  • Collaborate with the Project Portfolio Office on prioritization of IT projects across the company

Something About You:

  • Master’s degree in business administration (or similar), and/or +5 years’ experience in the Business/IT domain, preferably from global companies
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT Business Partnering roles or similar
  • Experience from working in global companies
  • Demonstrated ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications
  • Solid business acumen
  • Strong track record of professional achievements
