The main purpose of the role is to execute trade marketing on behalf of the Go-to-Market (GTM) team. The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all marketing/media programs and recommendations for our retailers in partnership with our media agency. They will provide high-level guidance to retailers on CoOp spend and media strategy, channels and tactics at local level. They will use insights and analytics, provided by our media agency, along with local best practices to inform the strategies. They will be charged with helping to build awareness and engagement, as well as driving traffic, for our retailers.This role involves close partnership with the GTM team, as well as the full Marketing and Sales organization.   

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure consistent execution of trade marketing across our store network, which includes both Owned & Franchised stores

  • Act as key marketing contact for retailers. Manage a consistent cadence of meetings with field team, retailer marketing leads and other cross functional business partners to ensure alignment.
  • Conduct store visits to ensure consistent execution throughout the network and capture best practices.
  • Lead local store event strategy for both owned and retailer stores.
  • Provide input and feedback to global guidelines based on local learnings
  • Translate and adapt global trade marketing guidelines to fit local assortment
  • Retailer compliance with NAM trade marketing guidelines, as well as overall engagement
  • Contribution to the company’s goals and objectives of growing market share/sales and consumer brand health metrics (awareness/consideration/purchase intent).

Something About You:

  • 5+ years of related professional trade marketing experience. Ideally, experience would include working in a network with both owned and franchised stores. Experience building relationships with retailers/owners.
  • The position requires solid experience as a Marketing and Retail leader. Experience in retail, fashion or CPG is a mandatory. .
  • Experience working for a global company/brand is a plus
  • Must be highly organized, a self-starter, who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills; a team player; ability to lead through relationship management, creative thinking and innovative decision making; excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills; interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Priority setting and time management skills a must.
  • Knowledge of MS office with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS Outlook; good typing skills; knowledge of database applications a plus. Must be proficient in PowerPoint.
