Product Planner

About the position:

Responsible for cross functional coordination, and support product planning team. As a supporting role in the E2E Merchandising Process.

Job Responsibilities:

MERCHANDISING SUPPORT

  • Prepare and collate documents and presentations as required: merchandising reports, product presentations, communications, and ad hoc projects etc.
  • Product and merchandise data generation and maintenance in the systems and reports
  • Answer to general product queries
  • Prepare Product Package and distribute to all stakeholders
  • Liaise with Finance and Supply Chain teams to set up the local pricing and wholesale pricing
  • Proof read prices and product information for Marketing & PR (all brochures, campaigns, website etc.)
  • Update & manage the merchandising calendars, communicate to all stakeholders & manage timelines
  • Manage merchandising samples
  • Support administrative tasks

TEAMWORK 

  • Participate in team meetings as required, and provide constructive input
  • Treat all management and fellow team members with respect to support a team environment and provide high levels of service and support
  • Develop professional relationships with team members to ensure optimal communication, efficiency, and productivity

Qualifications & Experience:

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Masterdata Maintenance Systems (i.e. TXT, SAP, AX etc)

Education/Experience/Requirements

  • University Degree major in Business Administration preferred
  • 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable position, preferably a retail or wholesale environment in jewelry or fashion industry
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of the business and impact of decisions taken
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
