Develop and implement the Procurement Category Strategy
As Global Category Manager, you will develop and implement the Procurement Category Strategy  (direction, prioritisation and speed) for the digital eCommerce area as well as lead, facilitate and support the digital eCommerce procurement agenda  to meet the business objectives.

You will identify main key areas and projects to be executed and optimise the Digital eCommerce Category to support the globalisation and to deliver results in terms of revenue support, value-, cost savings, cashflow improvements- and risk compliance management in line with the overall Global Indirect Procurement and company strategies. You will do this via clear supplier strategies, SRM, vendor- and contract management, strong stakeholder management and more.

As part of this, you will:

  • Build and implement the procurement category plan for Digital eCommerce based on the business needs and priorities with 1-3 year view ahead
  • Execute the procurement category plan
  • Ensure governance for category is anchored in Category Council with key stakeholders from the business
  • Work and be the main focal point for Digital eCommerce team and challenge with a commercial mindset and support compliance within e.g. Procurement policy
  • Be a strategic advisor on procurement related matters to SVP/VPs/Directors in the Digital eCommerce organisation
  • Develop supplier relationships to ensure we are on top of main developments from a category & procurement perspective
  • Develop and refine the sourcing pipeline and secure necessary resources for executing same
  • Increase Procurement coverage & execute sourcing projects together with Strategic Sourcing, business team

Adding to that, you have:

  • A degree within Digital eCommerce and/or IT or Procurement, but could also be Law or other commercial degrees
  • Solid experience from Digital/eCommerce and/or IT
  • Experience from global organisations with global footprints
  • Strong Digital-and/or IT contract negotiation experience and skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills

We focus on generating cost savings, the sustainability agenda, risk mitigation and ensuring our suppliers contribute to our value chain. We are currently 25 procurement professionals in Global Indirect Procurement working in Copenhagen, Shanghai and Baltimore.
