Pandora is looking for an ambitious and motivated Group Financial Controller for the Global HQ in Copenhagen.

Do you want to work with group reporting at the world’s largest jewellery company? 
You will join a dedicated and professional finance team working in an international environment with colleagues across Europe, America and Asia based out of PANDORAs Global HQ in Copenhagen.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Group Reporting and have a unique opportunity to define your role and drive your own projects from start to finish within the Group Reporting and IFRS space. You will work in a cross-functional playing field with highly skilled and ambitious colleagues motivated to support Pandora’s growth aspirations from all around the business such as FP&A, Commercial Finance, Global Business Services and IT. You will also be responsible for the financial controlling of Pandora A/S (parent company) where you will ensure compliance with PANDORA financial guidelines and ensure issues are addressed proactively. You will be the one point of contact for the Global Business Services to which you will be responsible for creating a trusted professional partnership that goes beyond monthly controlling to optimize and streamline processes. 

As our new Group Financial Controller, you will be involved in tasks across all areas and you will be exposed to many different stakeholders across the business and in the Global HQ. Your key accountabilities will be to: 

  • Establish a trusted relationship with regional Finance Directors to support on risk assessment, identifying opportunities and performance gaps
  • Define, own and drive projects from end to end
  • Ensure strong monthly controlling of your assigned subsidiaries including Pandora A/S 
  • Own and drive IFRS deep dives in select areas
  • Take joint responsibility to improve and optimize procedures to support faster closing and high quality/transparency in the numbers
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and accounting guidelines
  • Work with Internal Audit and Global Business Services to improve regional compliance

As a person, you are curious, ambitious, self-driven and take a high degree of ownership for your tasks. You have a great sense of humour, are easy to work with and you enjoy meeting and working with new people. We work in a fast paced environment with many competing priorities. Being able to focus on the most important aspects is a key driver for being successful in this role. 


Required skills and qualifications:

  • Hold a master’s degree in finance, preferably within business administration & auditing, finance, accounting or similar
  • 3-5 years of solid experience, preferably from an international auditing firm and/or from a large international company
  • Have an analytical and logical approach to issues as well as the ability to handle information you receive critically.
  • Solid experience with IFRS
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in working cross-organizationally with many stakeholders 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English  


Your new team
Group Reporting is responsible for the integrity of PANDORAs internal reporting and the quarterly and annual reporting to the stock exchange in Copenhagen.
