OMS Architect, Digital Development

As our new OMS Architect, you will provide support and guidance for OMS teams to ensure the effective build and delivery of a program of projects and product changes. Your main responsibility will be to maintain and improve Pandora’s OMS architecture and manage the solutions delivered by a growing team of Web Developers.
You will be a core member of the Get/Return/Care Leadership team, working to ensure the throughput of delivered features is consistent. Your daily tasks will include:
- Review and suggest proposed solutions during early stages of process and provide details of trade-offs to decision makers
- Be responsible for new architecture technologies/components assessment, review and sign-off
- Provide coaching and expertise to multiple development teams
- Build and maintain motivated squads for your relevant area
- Provide leadership and motivation to the squads for complex projects and problem resolution
Technical and natural communicator with strong business understanding
Personally, you are an ambitious and motivated self-starter. You have strong communication and negotiation skills, and always maintain a customer-focused attitude. Structure is your middle name, and people look to you during times of change to influence and drive culture and behaviours.
Professionally, you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with OMSs, and have worked at least 2 years as a Solution Architect or similar
- Expert API knowledge, especially within the realm of web-experiences and tools
- Extensive experience in working with Delivery teams, potentially using agile and scaled agile models/structures
- Have a proven track record delivering software solutions using agile methodologies
- Experience of leading and embedding change
Your new team
During 2020, we will build a world-class digital hub to ensure that digital is at the heart of Pandora. You will join the Digital Development team, responsible for delivering on the strategic ambition to be industry leaders in digital; owning and delivering our digital product and technology vision, strategy and roadmap.
You will report directly to the Digital Engineering Director, and work in a team where agile principles assist us deliver value to our customers. We work closely together in a flexible and informal environment, and aim to give back to the Copenhagen digital community by supporting events and sharing expertise.
