Under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partner, the Recruiter will drive the talent acquisition process for Owned & Operated Store across the US and Canada, as well as participate in the development of procedures and programs including but not limited to diversity & inclusion, talent management, succession planning, and new store openings. 

Essential Functions
  • Develops and manages the strategic talent acquisition process for store managers across the United States and Canada. 
  • Increases the effectiveness of field succession planning for key store management roles 
  • Drives the employer branding agenda for retail stores, in connection with the regional employer value proposition. 
  • Develops an effective partnership with retail leadership teams through consultation on human resources strategic issues as it relates to the strategic talent business plans.
  • Collaborates with management and employees to identify and resolve selection issues.
  • Assists in managing projects that help to proactively improve the positive culture in all our stores.
  • Ensures that we are in compliance with the Company’s policies as well as Federal and State laws.
  • Assists management to leverage talent among work groups.
  • Manages the PANDORA internal posting process and ensures that there is appropriate communication relative to position application status, etc. with internal staff.
  • Works closely with the Compensation Analyst to ensure competitive pay for internal and external candidates.
  • Partners with the Human Resources Business Partner and hiring managers to ensure appropriate organizational acculturation and acclamation through orientation and on-boarding services.
  • Researches, suggests and implements diversity and inclusion initiatives 
  • Responsible for creating recruitment plans, objectives and timelines for new store openings. 
  • Works closely with retail training on any recruitment/selection initiatives to drive talent solutions within stores. 
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Partners with the HR Business Partner in reviewing operating practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and work to implement changes as appropriate.
  • Plan, facilitate and/or execute on assigned projects.

Experience & Requirements

  • BA with 1-2 years previous recruitment experience or equivalent store management experience in a high customer touch environment
  • aPHR, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred. 
  • Bilingual French preferred 
  • Specialized training in recruitment and/or store operations.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Responsive to candidate and employee needs while maintaining professionalism, respect and consideration of others.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality. 
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of talent acquisition.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work required hours as needed.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
