The Vice President (VP) of Marketing will direct and oversee the US Marketing Department.  The VP, Marketing will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with both financial and brand funnel targets for the US Market.  The VP, Marketing will lead a team that executes strategies for Brand & Trade Marketing, Media & Digital Marketing, PR, and Visual Merchandising.  The VP, Marketing will work in close collaboration with the Commercial Circle (Marketing, Merchandising & Sales) within the market and region as partner closely with finance for planning & reporting.  The VP, Marketing will report directly to the General Manager for the US Market and work very closely with the Chief Marketing Officer from the Americas Region to ensure US plans are aligned with Pandora’s global strategy.   The VP, Marketing will partner with the head of US E-Commerce to maximize the consumer journey and spend effectiveness. The VP, Marketing will work closely with various agencies to maximize marketing spend and content effectiveness.  The VP, Marketing will have the responsibility of managing the marketing budget for the US and demonstrating a strong ROI on the spend through both top line revenue, increased traffic, social engagement, and improvements in priority brand health metrics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, desire, and promote traffic increases
  • Leverage analysis and understanding of retail landscape/business dynamics to align marketing activities to overall business results
  • Manage the US Marketing budget to ensure maximum return on spend
  • Track competitors activities
  • Enable the digital transformation that the organization is undergoing through a solid understanding of tools and systems
  • Build alignment and gain buy-in with key commercial partners
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Lead the US go-to-market planning from ideation, to briefing, to execution
  • Monitor campaigns, analyze effectiveness, and share findings with the organization.
  • Participate in US Senior Leadership Team meetings / planning sessions. 
  • Provide insights, ideas, and learnings to inform creation of US Commercial Calendar
  • Manage agency relationships, philanthropic partnerships, and other cross-branding opportunities.
  • Manage and lead a high-performing marketing team


  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or MBA
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Proven work experience as VP Marketing, Marketing Director, or other Senior roles within retail and branded business
  • Ability to lead fragmented channels & multiple stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Comfort with managing in a matrix organization
  • Successful leadership track record
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing including SEO and web analytics
  • Experience with CRM management
  • Highly Collaborative

 Travel Required : 30%
