Finance Director Northern Europe (m/f/d)

For our Finance Department in our Northern Europe head office in Hamburg, we are looking for a Finance Director Northern Europe (m/f/d)

Your main responsibilities:
· Support the NOEU business (D-A-CH, BeNeLux and Nordics) through a financial and commercial mind-set, and actively collaborates with functions outside of finance to focus on the business and value drivers
· Responsibility for the for the local governance, risk and compliance framework including the risk and loss prevention
· Production of annual Budgets, quarterly Forecasts and high quality financial analysis.
· Lead the month-end review process (financial results, key operational metrics, trending, etc.) and manage all periodic reporting submissions (network development, sell-out & inventory performance, etc.)
· Ensuring systems & processes are in place to regularly review financial performance across the regions, update & support the Budget holders and provide commentary to senior management on significant
variances i.e. provide critical and timely financial information.
· Develop commercially viable business cases that align with business objectives.
· Develop fact based, actionable recommendations on strategy, sales & operations to the executive team
· Ensure compliance and Internal Controls
· Continuously develop and refine the local financial forecasting processes, enabling solid perspectives on future business performances


Our requirements:
· Master‘s degree in business administration with focus on Finance / Controlling
· Practical experience in a similar role for at least 5 years, preferable in retail business
· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
· High level of attention to detail without losing the big picture
· Be a positive leader and change agent
· Fluent in English and German
