eCommerce Trading Assistant

The PANDORA UK eStore has seen phenomenal growth and the eCommerce Trading Assistant will play a key role in supporting this further success.  Reporting to the eCommerce Trader, this person will be responsible for the day to day onsite trading, merchandising and content management of the site.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience with retail e-Comm platforms, an understanding of Demandware/Salesforce platform, and GA or similar web analytics programs.  Successful candidates will have a proven ability to analyse data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions and identify opportunities.  

This person will support the development of the UK site through the Demandware platform, using it to test and optimise performance, ultimately driving revenue in this sales channel.   The pace is very fast in this role and previous experience in a similar environment will need to be demonstrated too.  

Duties include:

Optimise the UK site across all devices based on merchandising and marketing strategies, actions from weekly trade meetings and opportunities identified within web analytics tools.
Support the ecommerce trader with the onsite product recommendations strategy in order to drive key commercial KPIs.
Plan and maintain onsite content to support commercial KPIs, campaigns and promotions. 
Execute the implementation of approved launches and promotions, in line with EMEA team guidelines.
Review and maintain onsite search behavior to constantly optimise onsite performance.
Actively optimise product sorting within categories as well as search results pages.
Prepare and monitor merchandising AB tests and present findings to the rest of the team. 
Work alongside local teams to execute the online merchandising strategy based on customer and competitive insights, brand strategy and e-commerce objectives and initiatives.
Work closely with regional teams to share local insights and ensure the site is always on brand whilst commercial focused. 
Keep up to date on platform releases and opportunities to be shared within the wider team. 
Analyse and report on weekly onsite content & merchandising performance to provide recommendations to be reviewed by the ecommerce Trader, documenting results and sharing best practices with the rest of the team. 
Assist the ecommerce trader in leading the implementation of new local merchandising processes.
Build strong internal relationships with EMEA ecommerce, digital, creative, merchandising and local wider marketing team.
