Job description:
Group Reporting and Accounting is responsible for PANDORAs financial statements and quarterly and annual reporting. We perform financial controlling and report on the performance of all PANDORAs subsidiaries. We ensure compliance with IFRS and accounting guidelines and we solve a variety of ad hoc assignments with our subsidiaries and other functions in our global office. We are a service function and act as a business partner in all areas where we can add value to the business. As our new Group Financial Controller, you will take part in tasks across all areas.

Main responsibilities:
As a Group Financial Controller, you will have your own area of responsibility supporting and controlling one of our 3 regions including subsidiaries. You will report risks, opportunities and performance gaps as part of the closing process. You will be responsible for creating a strong professional relationship with the regional finance organisation and be an active business partner to your region, while you ensure that reporting is in accordance with PANDORAs accounting guidelines. In addition to the regional controlling you will support the team in monthly, quarterly and annual processes and take lead on cross-functional tasks and various finance projects.

Among your tasks are:

  • Monthly regional controlling
  • Support management on risk assessment, identifying opportunities and performance gaps
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and accounting guidelines
  • Controlling of forecasts and budgets
  • Take lead and participate in ad hoc projects
  • Participate in the development and quality assurance of external reporting

Professional and personal qualifications:

  • You have experience as an auditor or a solid experience from an accounting function in a large company
  • You manage to balance critical financial controlling and business partnering to the organization
  • You are self-driven and take a high degree of ownership for your tasks
  • You are pro-active and ambitious while also being a team player
  • You are eager to share your knowledge and ideas for the benefit of the organization
  • You are curious and have great analytical skills
  • You have a strong drive, are passionate about your job, are fun and easy to cooperate with and you enjoy meeting and working with new people, while you are open for challenges

Additional information:
PANDORA’s headquarter is located at Havneholmen in Copenhagen, which also will be your office location. A work week is expected to be approximately 37 hours but flexibility is required in peak periods. Traveling abroad 1-2 weeks per year can be expected. The applications and interviews will be handled on an ongoing basis.
