PANDORA IT ARE LOOKING FOR AN IT PROJECT MANAGER TO JOIN THE PROJECT  & PORTFOLIO DEPARTMENT TO HELP DELIVER ON OUR PROJECT PORTFOLIO

Job description:
You will be part of the Project & Portfolio Office department within PANDORA IT. You will be working closely with colleagues in both our Global Office in Copenhagen and our offices around the world in order to design, plan and execute our IT projects.

The IT Project Manager role is very independent, spreading across many types of IT projects – from delivering new software solutions to our stores, to administrative projects moving outsourced responsibilities from one vendor to another. Projects vary in size and collaboration requirements between IT and the rest of the PANDORA business. Our projects are operational and hands-on with strong focus on execution.

The IT Project Manager must have the capacity to maintain full control of one or more projects simultaneously and take them all the way from project initiation to successful operational handover. As IT Project Manager you must be able to manage time, budget, scope, vendors and stakeholders so we deliver projects on time – which is crucial for the success of PANDORA.

Your areas of responsibilities: 
In this position you will definitely shape the future of your position and you can expect to elevate the following job assignments:

  • Project management from initiation through execution and handover, preparing project plans, continuous update of financials, resources and scope
  • All levels of stakeholder management and communication
  • Collaborate with all departments in PANDORA IT, Global Office functions, regional sales offices and vendors, to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met


What is needed to succeed: 

  • Relevant master degree with min. 6 years of experience in delivering high quality IT Projects in a global IT environment
  • Proven structured and hands-on approach to project management and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Plans projects and tasks well in advance including resources required, timeframes and possible changing circumstances. Monitors performance against deadlines and milestones. Manages time in an effective and efficient manner
  • Experience with Change Management related to IT implementation
  • Certified in Project Management (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, MPM or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent English communication skills, written as well as verbally

PANDORA IT Project & Portfolio Office department consists of 22 IT project managers divided into five different teams with global reach and you will report to one of the Team Leads.

The PANDORA Global Office is located at Havneholmen near Copenhagen City in a new office building offering attractive workplace conditions for our employees.

Additional information:
Employment start is as soon as possible. Travel is approximately 10-20 days a year.
