Job description: 
We are looking for an ambitious, independent and responsible Logistic Trainee, who is ready for an  exciting and challenging traineeship in the world’s biggest jewelry brand. The traineeship last for 2 years and will provide you with real-life professional challenges from the Fast Moving Consumer Industry combined with theory acquired from classroom training. The school modules will take place at Business College Syd in Sydals.
 
The internship will be located in our Head Quarter in Copenhagen where you will be sitting the first year in our Global Supply Chain. Here you will take part of the daily tasks in the Point of Sales Material team of 6 people, where you will be ensuring timely and cost efficient deliveries to our global Distribution Centers (DCs). Point of Sales Materials (POSM) includes all packaging, store display items and campaign related items for our 7.500 point of sales. 
Second year, you will change department to Global Procurement, located at same floor as Supply Chain, where you will help our Transportation and Logistics team from a more tactical point of view.
 
You will start the traineeship by getting a tailormade introduction facilitated by HR. Here you will get a thorough walkthrough of Pandora, our values, systems and processes. This will also ensure you will get a good social and academic network in the organization from the beginning. Further, you will be appointed a “buddy” who will ensure you will get a good start on the job.
 
Your areas of responsibilities:  
As Logistics Trainee at Pandora, your assignments will have a wide range of areas and you can expect to elevate the following job assignments:
 
  • Help ensure Pandoras 10 global annual campaigns are supported by POSM in our regional DCs in the right time, quality and cost
  • Receive orders from our regions and place orders to our suppliers through our ERP system
  • Optimize transportation and logistics together with our Logistics Manager
  • Help in tender processes with suppliers around warehouse and logistics
  • For our sea freight, and occasionally air freight, ensure our shipping documents are in control 
  • Collaborate with DSV who is our main logistics provider on POSM
 
We believe you will experience a steep learning curve and develop a solid toolbox within Supply Chain and Procurement that will provide a good foundation for your further career.
 
Your personal qualifications makes a difference: 
As Logistics Trainee at Pandora, you will be given a great opportunity to develop your skills and social capabilities. On the other hand, we require a high level of responsibility from you and expect you to be highly motivated and ambitious. Besides this you speak and write English on a high level and know the basics in Microsoft Office.
 
It’s not required that you know anything about the jewelry business.
