Retail Pricing Specialist

Pandora is looking for a capable and dynamic Retail Pricing Specialist to join the Global Product Management team located at Pandora’s global office. Your primary role will be to support Pandora in further developing our retail pricing excellence by applying consumer value based pricing methodology. You will work closely together with the product directors in the team, pricing manager in Finance and merchandize functions in the regions. 

Main responsibilities:
  • Setting of global recommended retail prices for new products and the existing portfolio 
  • Annual review and update of global and local pricing hierarchies incl. ownership of pricing data
  • Coordinate and drive various pricing tasks in close collaboration with Product Directors, Design, Finance and Regions and support the teams in target costing and margin management 
  • Support preparation of material for the Pricing Board and Management Board
  • Set up and support pricing market research studies together with internal functions and external research partners.

The successful candidate must be well-structured with strong analytical skills, paired with an affinity also for our products and consumer’s value structure. Well-developed communication skills are essential for stakeholder management across functions and for navigating different personal profiles. A team first mentality is crucial for success in Pandora. A good sense of price management is important, while previous pricing experience on the job is not a prerequisite. 
Professional qualifications:
  • Holds a bachelor degree (BSc) or Master degree (MSc) within Economics or Business (e.g. Marketing)
  • A few years working experience from an analytically driven job, preferably from consultancy or a large international company 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools
  • Fluent in English, oral and writing
  • Advanced communication skills 
  • Structured and result oriented
  • Solid commercial understanding with experience in data analytics.

As a person you are a problem solver, detail-oriented, structured and analytical. You are very hands-on and appreciate routine tasks at same degree as new developments. You have a collaborative and flexible approach to work, a good sense of humour, and a friendly and helpful attitude.
