Job Description:
This Retail Technology Business Analyst role facilitates the successful delivery of IT projects in support of the business, working closely with the technical teams and stakeholders to document processes, requirements, coordinate project schedules, and communicate progress to the organisation.
The role is part of the global delivery set-up where Retail solutions are designed and delivered as a global solution to the PANDORA Retail business.  The candidate will partner with various teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure suitable solutions to meet the business needs as well as manage risks & issues and serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
The candidate will build positive and effective relationships with business partners, the technology teams as well as vendors in order to drive business valuable solutions across the organization based on business process and best practice.
Main responsibilities:
  • Gathers high level business requirements and assists with the definition of scope during initial discovery.
  • Supports the development of business cases requiring IT based solutions or resources.
  • Partners with peers globally to share best practices and ensure global alignment.
  • Understands the organisation’s goals, needs and challenges and influence business partners to rethink current practices and reengineer business processes where needed.
  • Defines and documents complex business requirements, technical requirements and processes.
  • Identifies and analyses system requirements and defines project scope, deliverables and success measurements.
  • Partners with Retail Technology peers to help drive development of global Retail solutions in close dialogue with business stakeholders.
  • Is responsible for partnering with internal business teams in developing roadmaps, defining business processes, driving process reengineering and associated system requirements
  • Is responsible for delivering against Retail Technology road-map through global delivery set-up

Professional qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration or related field
  • +8 years of hands-on business analysis experience, gathering and writing requirements for business applications is required
  • Experience with Dynamics CRM a plus and/or workforce management applications
  • Retail experience highly desired
  • Strong understanding of whole and retail business concepts, and how technology supports this
  • Understanding of retail systems and tools required to manage retail operations (sales/returns/repairs) and integration with the other retail systems and backend systems
  • CBAP certification or other BA Certification highly desired
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodologies
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative development
  • Firm grasp of fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft systems and technologies
  • Hands-on experience in managing projects from conception to delivery highly desired

  • Demonstrated ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects to support business needs
  • Strong English written and verbal is required
  • Additional languages a plus
