Pandora completes CEO transition: Berta de Pablos-Barbier to take office January 1
The leadership change, which was announced in September, concludes ahead of initial schedule.
Pandora today announced that Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Berta de Pablos-Barbier will become CEO on 1 January 2026. The transition, initially set to complete at the Annual General Meeting in March, will be finalised earlier than planned following a seamless handover from current CEO Alexander Lacik and the appointment of Jennie Farmer as Pandora’s new CMO.
Peter Ruzicka, Chair of Pandora, commented:
“The handover from Alexander to Berta has been exceptionally smooth. With Jennie Farmer stepping in as CMO, we are pleased to be able to conduct the leadership transition faster than planned. We look forward to the next era of growth under Berta’s leadership.”
Berta de Pablos-Barbier said:
“I am honoured to lead Pandora into its next chapter. Over the past years, we have established a strong brand with a unique position in the market for accessible jewellery. My immediate focus will be to navigate the current market turbulence while gearing up to leverage our untapped opportunities as a full jewellery brand and drive long-term growth. We are building a bigger Pandora.”
ALEXANDER LACIK TO RETIRE
As announced in September, Alexander Lacik has decided to retire after almost seven years as President and CEO of Pandora. Since joining the company in 2019, he has led a successful turnaround and executed the growth strategy to transform Pandora into a full jewellery brand.
Alexander Lacik will remain with Pandora as Special Advisor to the Board and Executive Leadership Team until the Annual General Meeting on 11 March 2026.
Peter Ruzicka commented:
“I want to thank Alexander for his outstanding leadership. Since he joined, Pandora’s revenue has grown by 45%, and total shareholder return has exceeded 200%. He leaves the company with a strong foundation and significant growth potential. We look forward to celebrating his achievements at the Annual General Meeting.”
JENNIE FARMER APPOINTED CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Jennie Farmer, currently SVP, Brand Experience & Channels, will succeed Berta de Pablos-Barbier as CMO on 1 January 2026. Jennie Farmer joined Pandora in January 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience with global luxury and consumer brands. She began her career in Procter & Gamble’s fragrance business, later holding senior roles at De Beers and LVMH. Most recently, she served as Chief Commercial Officer at furniture retailer Oka and CMO at The Office Group, a UK-based workspace developer.
Jennie Farmer said:
“Pandora is an iconic brand with a heritage of redefining the jewellery industry. I look forward to building on the strong direction set by Berta and driving bold, creative marketing that connects with consumers across all our segments and channels.”
